Good Vibes Only

Here’s your little gram.
Everybody gets the same.
I want my bad days back.

The idea

An app that keeps you happy. All the time. Don’t tell, but I think I’d like a little rain.

An app that keeps you happy all the time, and Joy, the host who hands the happiness out. The twist is that she’s trapped in it too.

The starting point was Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World: a society kept in line with pleasure, not fear.

Joy, in a mint dress with a white collar, opens her arms in a peach lounge. Behind her, rows of guests in cream look down at glowing capsule phones. Joy outside on a wet street at dusk, hair down and soaked, laughing with her eyes shut in the rain.

Smile, it’s in the terms

How it was made

A person and a model, five days.

I wrote the lyrics with Claude, Suno sang them, and every picture started as a prompt. There was no editing software. The cut is code.

The Lounge. Guests on cream sofas look at their phones. In the far wall an archway stands open, and beyond it there is rain. A wet street at dusk. In the wall at the end of it, the archway glows peach.

Nobody locked us in. There isn’t any door. Put the phone down. I’ll go first.

The archway at the end of the room is open. Nobody looks at it.
